Lagardere AWPL is the Pacific region's largest and most experienced Travel Retail operator with over 150+ stores across Australia, New Zealand and Noumea. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Café Team Leader to join our team in a Full Time capacity at Melbourne Airport. Our Icons Cafe offers customers an inviting space to relax and unwind before their flight.
Travellers can enjoy a range of hot and cold made-to-order food and drinks, or browse our range of locally sourced gifts, wines, spirits, chocolates and more. As Café Team Leader, guide the team in delivering excellent service in this exciting airport environment. Work with 2000+ passionate team members committed to excellence.

Requirements
- Completed RSA
- Previous experience in a café environment or in a customer service environment
- Barista experience with a passion for making great coffee
- Positive can-do attitude
- Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster including early mornings (5am) and late finishes (9pm)
Responsibilities
- Lead the café team in a busy airport environment
- Prepare and serve hot and cold made-to-order food and drinks
- Make great coffee with barista expertise
- Provide customer service to travellers relaxing before flights
- Manage daily operations including rostered shifts from 5am to 9pm
- Oversee sales of locally sourced gifts, wines, spirits and chocolates
- Foster a positive can-do attitude among team members
