About this role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Barista to lead coffee excellence within the café of our luxury retail store. This role sets the standard for beverage quality, service precision, and bar presentation. It delivers a refined, memorable guest experience that reflects brand value.

The Head Barista acts as a technical expert and service leader, inspiring the team through craftsmanship, consistency, and professionalism. Responsibilities include ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and service across all beverages. They maintain expert knowledge of coffee origins, blends, and brewing methods.

Day-to-day involves managing coffee inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and waste control while conducting regular quality checks on all drinks. Lead the coffee bar during service, setting the pace and tone for the team. Step in for service recovery and manage complex guest interactions.

Coordinate with kitchen and floor teams for seamless service flow and act as the main point of contact on coffee-related matters. Develop and maintain barista training materials, recipes, and SOPs. Lead tastings, calibrations, and refresher sessions for team alignment.
