About this role

The Coffee Barista Attendant completes opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors. They set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inputting orders into the cash register system and collecting payments from customers. This role ensures efficient coffee cart operations throughout the shift.

Take orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee beverages. Ensure appliances like coffee makers are turned on and off at appropriate times. Bus coffee cart areas and tables, and clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day.

Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager, and complete safety training. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank them with genuine appreciation. Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance while protecting company assets.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others to support team goals and ensure adherence to quality standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire shift, lifting objects up to 25 pounds. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank
