Barista Clerk - Part-Time

The Barista Clerk position in the Starbucks department at Schnucks offers 20-25 hours per week. Candidates must be available between 5:30am to 6:30pm to be considered. Expect to provide friendly and courteous service while brewing coffee and specialty drinks.

Greet customers prior to filling their order and create drinks according to Starbucks brand standards and recipes. Ensure proper handling and packaging for cafe items. Perform suggestive selling and product sampling to enhance customer experience.

Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and cases following Schnucks safety procedures and Starbucks standards. Operate a cash terminal and read shelf tags and signage. Follow all opening and closing procedures within the department.

Training includes hands-on experience and computer-based learning on Schnucks and Starbucks platforms. Other duties may include training as a checker and stock clerk at store management discretion. Physical demands involve bending, stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working on feet for 4-8 hour shifts.
