Greet guests warmly, explain beverage and food options, and handle phone or app orders accurately. Craft consistent, high-quality beverages following Alfred standards while maintaining coffee equipment. Prepare food per recipes, ensure clean prep spaces, and report safety hazards promptly.

Collaborate with colleagues through active listening, clear communication, and a solution-oriented approach. Maintain a clean, organized cafe by restocking shelves, assisting with deliveries, and following hygiene protocols. Inform management of operational inconsistencies to support team focus.

Previous cafe experience is a plus, but passion for customer-facing work and a positive attitude are key. Flexibility for quarterly meetings and minimum three shifts per week required. Build skills in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn coffee origins and flavor profiles.

Requirements

Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting preferred
Passion for working with the public in a customer-facing capacity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Flexibility to attend quarterly team meetings or trainings outside regular hours
Maintain a minimum of 3 shifts per week
Able to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance and stand for extended periods
