About this role

The Gourmet Coffee Barista Attendant completes opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors. They set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inputting orders into the cash register system and collecting payments from customers. Appliances like coffee makers are turned on or off at appropriate times.

Take orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee beverages. Bus coffee cart areas and tables, then clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day. Obtain change required for expected business levels and count the bank at shift end.

Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required training. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional while welcoming guests according to standards. Speak clearly, develop positive working relationships, and adhere to quality expectations.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods with attention to customer service and a professional personality. Available for flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Responsibilities
