A leading global supplier of green coffee with year-round presence in 18 major origins, we offer responsible, traceable supply and rare roasts. Objectively assess coffee quality, understand customer needs beforehand, and handle processing during warehousing. Direct day-to-day lab running to ensure product quality of forward and spot offerings.

Facilitate and lead regular cuppings with the team while managing, training, and supervising junior QA team. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong passion for high-quality coffee. Network with industry members across all levels to develop product versatility and supply chain.

Very detail-oriented and analytical, leverage experience roasting coffee in variety of styles as a skilled cupper. Make positive impact on people and planet through fresh thinking. Build leadership with interpersonal skills in this buzzing coffee know-how role.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for high-quality coffee
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Min 5 years’ experience as a Quality Manager
  • Experience roasting coffee in a variety of styles
  • Skilled cupper
  • Very detail-oriented, meticulous, and highly analytical
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clear leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and cloud-based equivalents (e.g. Google Docs)

Responsibilities

  • Objectively assess coffee quality
  • Handle and process coffee during warehousing
  • Understand customer needs and quality requirements beforehand
  • Facilitate and lead regular cuppings with the team
  • Direct the day-to-day running of the lab, ensuring product quality of both forward and spot offerings
  • Manage, train, and supervise junior QA team
  • Network with other members of the industry across all levels to develop versatility and variety of the product and supply chain
