About this role

The Barista Coffee Bar Attendant completes closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, and restocking items. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inspecting the cleanliness of china, glass, and silver prior to use. Lock refrigerators, turn off lights, and complete daily cleaning checklists.

Maintain cleanliness throughout the day with clean-as-you-go procedures. Follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training. Ensure uniform and personal appearance remain clean and professional.

Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, using clear professional language. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns. Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette and protect company assets.

Read and visually verify information in various formats. Stand, sit, or walk for entire shifts, lifting objects up to 50 pounds without assistance. Move over uneven surfaces, reach overhead, and perform duties like bending and stooping as needed.

  • Move, lift, carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up/down stairs
  • Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Follow safety and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
