About this role
As Head Barista at Origin Coffee's Bristol site, you will play a leading role in delivering an exceptional coffee experience, setting industry benchmarks, and ensuring every cup reflects commitment to provenance, seasonality, and transparency. You will drive quality, customer engagement, and operational excellence across the coffee bar. This is an opportunity for a passionate coffee professional to make a tangible impact and elevate service standards.
You will develop and refine coffee recipes for blend and single-origin coffees, ensuring consistency across espresso, pour-over, and batch brewing. Operate and maintain high-end equipment like La Marzocco espresso machines and Mahlkonig grinders, troubleshooting issues as needed. Manage coffee bar workflow for efficiency during peak periods and oversee stock levels for seamless operations.
Deliver personalised service with insightful coffee recommendations and engage customers to enhance their coffee journey. Mentor baristas with support from the Education Team, inspiring skills in brewing, service, and product knowledge. Foster a culture of passion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Passionate about speciality coffee with deep understanding of brewing techniques and quality control

- Skilled in operating and maintaining professional coffee equipment
Responsibilities
