25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird is a 38-story property in the Sudirman Central Business District featuring 210 rooms and 135 serviced apartments above Ashta Mall. The hotel embodies poetic contrasts with nostalgia, authenticity, and genuine hospitality at its F&B outlets.

As barista you manage the beverage station, greet guests warmly on first contact, and take accurate food and beverage orders. You prepare and serve hot snacks and cold drinks promptly so they reach guests at the correct temperature.

You remember returning guests' names and preferences while creating new beverages and cocktails to suit their needs. You upsell other offers, obtain feedback during service, and present correctly charged bills before thanking patrons on departure.

You maintain the station and all operational equipment to hotel standards, follow HACCP food safety procedures, and requisition supplies so stock is always ready for service. The role sits within a busy hotel outlet serving both business and lifestyle guests.

Requirements

  • Secondary / High school education
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the beverage station is set according to standards and procedures
  • Greet all guests warmly upon first contact and remember individual preferences
  • Take down food and beverage orders and confirm they are correct
  • Prepare and serve drinks and snack orders promptly at the correct temperature
  • Create new beverages and cocktails to suit guests' needs and upsell other offers
  • Obtain guest feedback during operations and report complaints or incidents
  • Prepare bills accurately, present them for payment, and clear the station quickly
  • Order and collect supplies, prepare garnishes, and clean all operational equipment
