About this role

We have a cool internship for an HBO/WO student with affinity for sustainability. You'll work on innovations in the world of sustainable packaging. At Pelican Rouge Coffee Roasters, you get the chance to make real impact preparing for future legislation.

During your internship, dive into sustainable and recyclable packaging. Research available sustainable packaging materials and market trends. Inventory and analyze the packaging we currently use.

Help build a smart, structured system to manage packaging data. Prepare for compliance declarations like the packaging passport for 2026. Support preparations for the packaging register in 2027 and pre-research future obligations such as disposal logos and recycle grades.

Enjoy guidance from specialists in packaging, food, and regulations. Take lots of own responsibility and space to build internal processes. Your research and insights directly contribute to our sustainability strategy.

Requirements

HBO or WO student in Packaging Technology, Sustainability, Packaging Design, Food Innovation, or Food Technology
Affinity for sustainability
Available for approximately 20 weeks
Preferably start in February 2026

Responsibilities

Research sustainable packaging materials and market trends
Inventory and analyze current packaging used
Help build a smart, structured system to manage packaging data
