Join the team at Rivers Casino as a Barista Cashier, where you greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude. Take orders from guests and prepare a variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment. Handle cash, credit, and comp procedures correctly while operating the Micros system to ring up and close out checks.

Daily duties include ensuring the bank is counted and balanced with cage, completing cash turn-in sheets, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area at all times. Possess complete knowledge of menu items, prices, and all job-related procedures. Uphold standards by setting examples with appearance and work ethic.

Work in a professional environment treating all guests promptly and courteously while complying with departmental rules and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and guests, performing duties safely to prevent accidents. Be prepared for flexible shifts including holidays with frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Requirements

Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
Ability to perform basic math
Understand cash handling, making change and counting it back to customers
Knowledgeable barista able to make variety of drinks in fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible shifts and days including holidays
Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching and lifting
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
Regular, predictable attendance
