Assistant Coffee Shop Manager

Responsible for assisting the Department Manager with presenting the freshest most innovative and best quality products at a competitive retail price to customers. Always maintaining a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members. Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions. Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, learns customers’ names, and assists by escorting to products, securing out-of-reach items, or loading heavy items. Answers the telephone promptly, takes product orders, and handles counter orders.

Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment. Handles food in a safe manner, ensures the work area is always clean and neat, and reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness. Reports to District Store Director, Store Manager, and Coffee Shop Department Manager while supervising Coffee Shop Baristas.

Demonstrates core competencies of partnerships, growth mindset, results oriented, customer focused, and professionalism. Fully engaged and committed to supporting customers and each other. Adheres to company policies, maintains personal hygiene and dress guidelines, and reports to work when scheduled.
