About this role

Responsible for production of a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from a complex combination of ingredients, according to standardized recipes. Work in a fast-paced, high volume work environment using specialized kitchen equipment. Create an excellent experience for the customer at Blodgett Hospital.

Production includes learning and retaining beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes while multitasking across roles. Duties cover recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities. Operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment while troubleshooting issues as needed.

Maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area at all times. Identify ingredients or finished products that do not meet established quality standards and correct issues immediately. Prepare for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections.

Create personalized experiences for customers while demonstrating knowledge of products and accuracy in fulfilling highly specific requests. Perform effective service recovery if products do not meet expectations and deliver on Corewell Health's mission to improve health and inspire hope.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math and computer skills.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Food service and cash handling experience preferred.
