The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie seeks an experienced Bartender or Barista with a passion for hospitality. This hands-on operations role suits professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and take pride in crafting high-quality beverages. The position is based at the award-winning venue on Bedford Row in Limerick.
Daily work centres on preparing and serving drinks to the highest standard while keeping the barista and bar area clean, organised, and fully stocked. You will requisition stock, handle cash transactions, and maintain all glassware and equipment in top condition. Knowledge of coffee, cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits supports expert guest recommendations.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Bartender or Barista in a busy restaurant
- Passion for hospitality with a warm, friendly, and efficient service style
- Fluent English
- Attention to detail and high standards in drink preparation and customer service
- Knowledge of licensing laws and Customs & Excise Regulations
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Full permission or a valid visa to work in the EU
Responsibilities
- Craft and serve all drinks to the highest standard ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction
- Keep the barista and bar area clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Provide expert recommendations on coffee, cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
- Requisition, organise, and set up stock for daily operations
- Adhere to licensing laws, Customs & Excise Regulations, health and safety, hygiene, and fire regulations
- Operate the cash register following company procedures
- Ensure all glasses and bar tools are cleaned and in top condition
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
