About this role

To deliver service, store standards, and merchandising programs consistently to all guests. We provide prompt friendly service with fresh roasted coffee, quality beverages, and products in a clean atmosphere.

Baristas perform guest demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment while following merchandising and operational guidelines. Proper inventory levels of product and supplies are maintained at all times.

Product preparation, receiving, stocking, rotating, and guest service are completed to achieve department standards. Cleaning tasks, sanitation, and safety practices are performed throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.

Requirements

Friendly, engaging and outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with guests and coworkers.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and direction.
Ability to supervise, train and develop people.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Possess effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Ensure guests receive friendly, engaging service by providing demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
Follow merchandising and operational guidelines including maintaining proper inventory levels of product and supplies.
Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, rotating, and guest service to achieve standards.
Perform cleaning tasks, sanitation, and maintain safety throughout the department per Lowes Foods standards.
Deliver PA announcements on schedule.
Complete all other duties as assigned by management.
