Your day-to-day involves greeting guests with energy and a genuine smile, taking orders accurately, and entering them into the Micros terminal. You’ll maintain constant communication with other cashiers and baristas while performing side work to keep the workspace clean, organized, and efficient.

Requirements

Coffee shop, restaurant, fast-food venue, and/or hotel and resort experience is helpful.
Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant or fast-food venue or as a cashier is helpful.
Ability to obtain required food handling certification as per state or local law.
Ability to obtain an alcohol awareness/safety certificate if required by state or local law.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with energy, a genuine smile, positive body language, focused eye contact, and in a timely fashion.
Maintain full knowledge of the menu, food items, specials, coffee drinks, bakery case items, and appropriate prices.
Take orders properly and enter them into the Micros terminal accurately.
Maintain constant communication between other cashiers and baristas on orders.
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
Craft quality beverages with care and deliver friendly, personalized service that makes guests feel welcome.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
