As a Barista, you will maintain the highest standards of guest service by providing quick, efficient, and professional service. Your day-to-day involves restocking merchandise, keeping the coffee bar clean, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied with their experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience in food/beverage and/or retail environment
  • Previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience required
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
  • Must be TIPS Alcohol & Food Handler certified
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds; stand or walk for an entire shift

Responsibilities

  • Provide quick, efficient, and professional service to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Restock merchandise and keep the coffee bar clean throughout the shift
  • Communicate effectively with guests and associates, listening to and clarifying concerns
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, including stressful, high-pressure environments
  • Adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards
  • Follow proper procedures for accepting credit cards, checks, and verifying guest room numbers
  • Maintain a cash bank and assist with monthly inventory
  • Adhere to proper food handling procedures and equipment safety protocols
