The Barista is the foundation of the café at The Loren Austin and is responsible for honoring every customer by providing excellent customer service and a high-quality product. Located at the cornerstone of Ladybird Lake and the Austin Skyline, the hotel delivers understated luxury with views of the Austin skyline.

Daily work centers on enthusiastically satisfying customers while providing quality beverages consistently. The role models quality store operations, contributes to store profitability, and requires learning all aspects of the lead barista position.

Requirements

High school or equivalent
TABC Certification
Food Handler Certification
1+ years barista experience in luxury hotel environment preferred
High school graduate level mathematical aptitude and knowledge of standard cash handling procedures
Knowledge of computerized cash register systems
Experience dealing directly with the public and basic customer service skills
