About this role

ResQ Limited is an outsourced contact centre with a difference, delivering high-quality specialist services as true partners to leading brands in energy, telecoms, digital, and media sectors. We are now looking for an in-house barista to operate an internal coffee shop within the Hammonds of Hull building, providing a selection of hot beverages to our staff.

In this role, you will prepare and serve high-quality beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup while providing friendly, fast-paced support to employees. Your day-to-day will involve brewing coffee and tea, operating coffee machines, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and handling card payments accurately.

You will work 13 hours per week on a set schedule: Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, plus an option of Tuesday or Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Requirements

Prior barista experience is preferred, with a passion to serve high-quality coffee in a fast-paced environment (not required).

Responsibilities

Deliver great service by providing friendly, fast-paced support to employees in the company coffee shop.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup.
Maintain cleanliness by keeping the coffee shop and workstations clean and organized, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Operate coffee machines and other brewing equipment effectively, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring all necessary ingredients and materials are available for service.
Handle card payments accurately and efficiently.
