About this role

ResQ Limited is an outsourced contact centre with a difference, delivering high-quality specialist services as true partners to leading brands in energy, telecoms, digital, and media sectors. We are now looking for an in-house barista to operate an internal coffee shop within the Hammonds of Hull building, providing a selection of hot beverages to our staff.

In this role, you will prepare and serve high-quality beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup while providing friendly, fast-paced support to employees. Your day-to-day will involve brewing coffee and tea, operating coffee machines, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and handling card payments accurately.

You will work 13 hours per week on a set schedule: Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, plus an option of Tuesday or Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Requirements

  • Prior barista experience is preferred, with a passion to serve high-quality coffee in a fast-paced environment (not required).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver great service by providing friendly, fast-paced support to employees in the company coffee shop.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup.
  • Maintain cleanliness by keeping the coffee shop and workstations clean and organized, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Operate coffee machines and other brewing equipment effectively, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring all necessary ingredients and materials are available for service.
  • Handle card payments accurately and efficiently.
