About this role

This role delivers our service, store standards, and merchandising programs consistently to all guests. We provide guests with prompt friendly service, fresh roasted coffee, quality beverages and products in a clean atmosphere.

Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring guests receive friendly, engaging service by providing guest demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment. You will follow merchandising and operational guidelines, maintain proper inventory levels, and perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, and rotating.

Cleaning tasks and sanitation are performed in accordance with Lowes Foods standards, and you will make PA announcements on schedule. The work environment emphasizes a friendly, engaging, and outgoing personality, with a focus on guest service and teamwork.

This position offers the opportunity to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job, developing skills in coffee preparation and guest interaction. You will communicate effectively with store management and merchandisers to support department success.

Requirements

Friendly, engaging and outgoing personality.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to read and understand information and direction.
Ability to supervise, train and develop people.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Possess effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended period of time.
Ability to communicate effectively with Store Management and Merchandiser(s).

Responsibilities

Ensure guests receive friendly, engaging service by providing guest demonstrations and samples using brewing and roasting equipment.
Follow merchandising and operational guidelines and programs including proper inventory level of product and supplies.
Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, rotating and guest service to achieve standards.
Perform cleaning tasks and sanitation and maintain safety throughout the department in accordance with Lowes Foods standards.
Perform PA announcements on schedule.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
