Blackstone Consulting, Inc. is hiring for our client's Corporate Caffe in Austin, TX. We seek individuals with a real passion for food, coffee, and espresso who want to blend culinary arts with extraordinary service.

As a Barista and Front of House Attendant, you will be responsible for your espresso bar, maintaining health and safety standards, and delivering speed, quality, and consistency with a high level of customer service. Day-to-day tasks include creating and serving tasty coffee and tea drinks, keeping counters clean and stocked, brewing coffee for breakfast service, brewing tea for lunch service, answering customer questions, and cutting lemons.

Our client encourages inclusivity and cultivates a diverse working environment that will expand your skillset and experience. You will work onsite at a state-of-the-art Corporate Caffe with a Tuesday through Friday schedule, so no nights or weekends are required.

We will teach you everything you need in our Barista training program, where you will thrive with hands-on trainers guiding you through a program designed to bring our knowledge to your unique style. This is an opportunity to grow as a culinary artist of espresso.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in customer service or high volume food service, preferably in innovative corporate programs, full-service hotels, resorts, or multi-restaurant chains
  • Extraordinarily service oriented with a demonstrable high level of customer service
  • Dynamic and agile with strong organizational skills and ability to switch between locations and job duties
  • Strong listening skills and verbal communication to connect with customers
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills that amaze customers
  • Honesty, integrity, and reliability
  • Approved Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes prior to first day of work

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and guest relations
  • Create and serve up tasty coffee and tea based drinks in a timely manner
  • Keep counters clean and stocked, including cleaning soda machines
  • Brew coffee for breakfast service and tea for lunch service
  • Answer customer questions and assist with their needs
  • Cut lemons and perform other front-of-house tasks
  • Maintain health and safety standards for the espresso bar
  • Ensure speed, quality, and consistency in every drink served
