Responsible for assisting the Department Manager with presenting the freshest, most innovative, and best quality products at a competitive retail price to customers. Always maintaining a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members. Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern, and patience in all interactions. Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, learns their names, and assists by escorting to products, securing out-of-reach items, or loading heavy items. Takes orders at the counter, answers the telephone promptly, and passes along customer suggestions.
Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment. Handles food safely, keeps the work area clean and neat, reviews product freshness, and anticipates daily needs. Reports to District Store Director, Store Manager, and Coffee Shop Department Manager while supervising Coffee Shop Baristas.

Develops or follows production lists, checks in product, runs department registers, and maintains strict adherence to hygiene and company guidelines. Performs arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner and learn customers’ names
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading heavy items, and noting suggestions
- Take customer orders at the counter and answer the telephone promptly including product orders
- Review status and appearance of food for freshness and ensure adequate supply is ready
- Prepare and replenish product as necessary, check in product, and anticipate department needs
- Run department registers, receive payment, make change, and remove trash in a timely manner
- Supervise Coffee Shop Baristas and maintain clean work area with strict hygiene adherence
