The Head Barista reports to the Café Manager in this hands-on role, ensuring excellent customer experience with beverages aligning to the Veneziano brand. Maintain Coffee Bar order and barista performance to café standards while delivering top coffee quality, production, service, and presentation. Introduce innovative ideas and new product rollouts fitting the brand.

Join a team of specialty coffee experts in a fast-paced environment focused on industry-leading experiences. Oversee coffee bar operations, build customer rapport, and drive retail sales through education and promotions. Work 38 hours per week on a rotating Monday-to-Sunday roster.

Requirements

Passion for great coffee and food, continually pushing the benchmark for industry-leading experience
Minimum 2 years prior experience as a barista within the specialty coffee space
Excellence in customer service
Experience in fast-paced hospitality environments
Prior experience motivating, mentoring, coaching and developing high performing talent
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal communication and customer service
Ability to work on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday with unlimited work rights

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer experience by ensuring beverages align with the Veneziano brand
Maintain the order of the Coffee Bar
Ensure baristas perform in line with Veneziano Café standards
Deliver coffee quality, production, service, and presentation standards
Maintain expert level of knowledge across hospitality and specialty coffee industry
Build rapport with regular customers and increase sales through education and promotions
Oversee operations in the coffee bar
Provide innovative coffee ideas, solutions, and new product rollouts
