Hotel Jerome has been the social hub of Aspen since 1889, known as the place where great stories were born and are told. Join the team as a Barista crafting exquisite coffee moments where every cup tells a story and each pour is a masterpiece.
Greet guests promptly and explain available items in detail while recording orders accurately. Input details into the POS system, prepare beverages to precision, and ensure dietary restrictions are noted and communicated with culinary teams.
Work in a dynamic indoor hotel environment that can be humid or hot at times. Maintain station setup and cleanliness, sanitize surfaces and equipment, restock supplies, and assist with collecting food orders from the kitchen.
Process cash, credit card, and charge sales while balancing banks and running end-of-day revenue reports. Support monthly inventory counts and stay familiar with hotel layout and outlet operations to deliver seamless service.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience as a barista preferred
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Superior professional appearance and manner with ability to work in a fast-paced team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications such as food handlers certificate
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
- Flexible in performance of all duties
Responsibilities

- Input orders promptly into the POS system and prepare beverages to accuracy
- Note dietary restrictions on tickets and communicate with culinary teams
- Process cash, credit card, and charge sales for all retail and food orders
- Balance tip slips, run financial reports, and ensure bank is balanced at end of shift
- Check station setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts while sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with monthly inventory of retail items, liquor, and beverages
