About this role

This role is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while delivering exceptional customer service. Baristas should be friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about menu items, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day duties include taking orders, operating the POS system, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. You will also be proactive in counting money before a shift begins, wiping up spills, and ensuring products meet quality standards throughout the morning.

You will work as part of a hospitality team that values personalized service and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The role requires being personable and able to meet the public, with a focus on resolving customer complaints politely and professionally.

Requirements

  • Must be personable and able to meet the public.
  • Cashier experience and computer knowledge helpful.
  • Must be apt in handling money, currencies, and coins.
  • Must have the ability to do repetitive work without any errors.
  • Must have basic computer awareness and be able to maintain records regarding transactions on computers.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and people skills.
  • Must deal with customers politely and be dressed neatly.
  • Must be ready to work varied hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personalized service to all guests.
  • Greeting and welcoming customers.
  • Taking orders and operating the POS system.
  • Preparing and serving beverages and food items to quality standards.
  • Wiping up spills and maintaining cleanliness of all appliances and counter space throughout the morning.
  • Removing trash and stocking shelves, keeping note of stock that are about to finish.
  • Proactively counting money before a shift begins to avoid miscalculation at the end of the shift.
  • Resolving different types of complaints from customers or addressing them to the restaurant manager.
