Target's Food & Beverage team delivers a consistent guest experience by keeping products fresh, in stock, and accurately priced. As a Starbucks Barista you help bring that vision to life through handcrafted beverages and attentive service.

Each shift involves curating Starbucks food quality, managing freshness, and following state and federal food safety plus OSHA guidelines. No two days are the same while you greet guests, resolve issues, and keep the café running smoothly.

You work alongside the broader store team in a fast-paced retail environment where product presentation and operational efficiency matter. The role centers on creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience for every guest who visits the Starbucks counter.

Team members gain hands-on practice with inventory accuracy, replenishment, and promotional signing processes. These experiences build practical skills in food service operations and guest-focused retail work.

Requirements

Ability to prepare handcrafted Starbucks beverages while maintaining quality and freshness standards
Knowledge of state and federal food safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
Strong guest service approach including friendly greetings and issue resolution
Capacity to adjust quickly to changing business needs and guest volume
Willingness to support team members across Food & Beverage areas

Responsibilities

Provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted beverages and managing food quality and freshness
Follow state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines during all operations
Greet guests at 10 feet with a smile and eye contact, then initiate warm helpful interactions at 4 feet
Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
End every transaction with a sincere thank you
Assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring experience
Deliver an exceptional guest experience with a fresh and abundant shopping environment during all operating hours
