About this role
TRIA Café in Fitzgerald's Park is an exciting new café bringing expertly brewed coffee, seasonal food, and a fresh energy to one of Cork's most iconic green spaces. We're looking for skilled baristas who are passionate about coffee and love delivering top-quality drinks with speed, precision, and a smile.
You'll work on top-of-the-line equipment, serving everything from flat whites to cold brew, all with a focus on quality and consistency. Your day-to-day involves preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based and specialty drinks while maintaining a clean and well-organised coffee station.
Engaging with customers and offering warm, friendly service is central to the role, as is monitoring stock and contributing to daily setup and closing duties. You'll work closely with the front-of-house team to keep service smooth and efficient.

Requirements
- Previous barista experience in a busy setting
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and presentation
- Passion for hospitality and attention to detail
- Great attitude, fast hands, and excellent communication
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and specialty drinks
- Maintain a clean and well-organised coffee station
- Engage with customers and offer warm, friendly service
- Monitor stock and contribute to daily setup and closing duties
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to keep service smooth
- Dial in espresso and adjust grind for consistency throughout the shift
- Steam milk to proper texture for lattes, cappuccinos, and flat whites
