About this role

A fresh chapter is opening on the harbour at Adina Sydney Darling Harbour, a premium apartment hotel in one of Sydney’s most vibrant waterfront locations. Shoreline Kitchen, a new all day dining concept, is at the heart of the hotel and we’re looking for a Barista who takes coffee seriously.

As a Barista at Shoreline Kitchen, you’ll be the first impression of the day for our guests, bringing craft and consistency to every cup. You’ll prepare and serve high quality coffee with care, from extraction to presentation, and connect with guests by remembering preferences and making every interaction feel personal.

You’ll work alongside the Food & Beverage team, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, and be part of building something special from the ground up. The coffee area is where Shoreline comes to life first, and you’ll support daily café operations including setup, stock rotation, equipment care and cleanliness.

You’ll keep up with coffee trends, origin seasonality, and sustainability practices, sharing your enthusiasm with guests and teammates. Requirements

  • Experience working in Sydney’s specialty coffee scene or a similar quality driven environment
  • Solid understanding of coffee preparation, equipment, and consistent extraction
  • Collaborative mindset and genuine willingness to learn and grow with the team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and mornings
  • Enthusiasm for sharing passion for coffee with others and thriving in a fast-paced environment

  • Dial in new single origins and maintain consistent extraction across all coffee preparations
