About this role
As a Barista at WHSmith, you will deliver exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to maintain fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us.
Your day-to-day will involve carrying out stock replenishment and ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy and inviting for customers to shop. You will also meet high standards of display and visual merchandising, helping customers find what they are looking for easily.
You will be part of a supportive team environment where confident communication and collaboration are valued. Our stores look for motivated individuals who are adaptable to meet company requirements and goals.

Requirements
- A passion for customers having an exceptional experience in store
- Confident in communicating within the team
- Motivated to achieve fantastic results and standards
- Adaptable to meet company requirements and goals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Delivering an exceptional customer service to all our customers
- Carrying out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy and inviting for our customers to shop
- Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising, helping customers find what they're looking for easily
- Being part of a team and supporting colleagues
- Working independently or as part of a team to deliver fantastic store standards
- Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customer specifications
- Operating the till and handling cash and card transactions accurately
