About this role

At Lori’s Recharged, the Barista Shift Lead provides a trusted place for joy and support when people need it most. You will create and serve delicious beverages while engaging from the heart to nurture, inspire, and comfort every guest.

Day-to-day, you will take guest orders, process payments using the POS, and prepare hot and cold beverages like coffee, tea, and smoothies. You will also prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads, and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of your work area, equipment, and utensils.

As a shift lead, you will collaborate with team members to keep operations running efficiently and help maintain inventory by restocking supplies as needed. The role involves working in a small space and following health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement
Attention to detail for accurate order taking and preparation
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
Ability to work well in a team setting
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations preferred

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by practicing GUEST standards (Greet, Understand, Educate, Suggest, and Thank)
Take guest orders and process payments using the point of sale (POS)
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
