Our braggingly happy team members create braggingly happy customers spanning national accounts and military commissaries. Baristas ensure food and beverages are handled safely, work in a clean environment, and stock and rotate coffee displays.
Baristas operate cash register to itemize purchases and process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, and gift certificates. They communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers while modeling high standards of service.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- One year of retail or related experience preferred.
- Good verbal communication skills; ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to operate coffee shop equipment, including espresso machines and blenders, efficiently.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee shop beverages by brewing, mixing, and blending according to set standards.
- Prepare food items according to established procedures.
- Operate cash register to itemize customer purchases and process payments including cash, checks, credit cards, and gift certificates.
- Stock items and rotate coffee merchandise displays to maintain a well-stocked department.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked department; comply with company safety and sanitation procedures.
- Communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers to achieve a customer-oriented store.
- Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines as well as Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
- Notify the department lead or manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
