About this role

At Dutch Bros Coffee, we are more than just a coffee company. As Shop Manager, you drive your shop’s success by hitting labor and sales targets set by regional leadership. You provide leadership for the crew through example and training as needed.

You oversee all employees at your shop, from onboarding and hiring to coaching and corrective action. Ensure the shop is prepared to serve customers each day and meets all QA standards. Maintain good business practices such as labor targets, cost of goods, and customer experience scores.

Lead, inspire, and develop each crew member to achieve our mission. Model and meet all expectations of positions under your supervision, and attend or host shop leadership meetings. Communicate and prepare the crew for specials, promotions, and standard changes.

Create a platform for finding, defining, and attaining each individual’s compelling future goals. This role requires the desire to become an Operator, with a clear pathway for advancement. You will be a key part of a fun-loving, mind-blowing company that makes a difference one cup at a time.

Requirements

  • Must have Dutch Bros Shop Lead experience.
  • No disciplinary action for the past 90 days (coaching conversation resulting in formal documentation with signatures).
  • Must have the desire to become an Operator.
  • Prerequisite: obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit/Certification as per state/local regulations.
  • Ability to complete, pass, and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under Dutch Bros required standards.
  • Completion and passing of standard background check and MVR required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive when necessary.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 37 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Drive shop success by hitting labor and sales targets as set by the Regional Shop Manager and Regional Operator.
  • Provide leadership for the crew through example and training as needed.
  • Oversee all employees at your shop including onboarding, hiring, training, coaching, corrective action, and terminations.
  • Ensure the shop is prepared to serve customers each day and meets all QA standards.
  • Maintain good business practices as outlined by management, including labor targets, cost of goods, and customer experience scores.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop each crew member to achieve our mission.
  • Communicate and prepare the crew for upcoming specials, promotions, and standard changes.
  • Identify and remedy problems deserving attention, such as maintenance needs, with your Regional Shop Manager.
