The Cafe Manager leads the team to deliver amazing customer experiences and keep the café running smoothly. This role suits those with leadership experience, a love for coffee and people, and strong organizational skills. Manage daily operations and overall strategic direction while inspiring the team and driving sales.

Oversee inventory operations including ordering, stocking, and merchandising to maintain optimal levels. Handle opening and closing procedures, financial reporting, and develop strategies for business growth. Create efficient, cost-effective weekly schedules that prioritize positive customer experiences.

Inspire, train, and support the team for stellar service and unforgettable coffee experiences. Cultivate a passionate hospitality environment and educate baristas on the La Colombe mission, culture, and coffee stories. Build authentic relationships with guests through warm communication and engagement.

Ensure high standards in food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and report any issues immediately. Turn first-time guests into loyal regulars with attention to detail and exceed expectations every time.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in food service or retail (bonus if managed a café or coffee shop)
  • Love people as much as coffee and know how to motivate a team during the morning rush
  • Organized, proactive, and a natural multitasker
  • Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality where focus is customer facing
  • Takes pride in being part of a team and embodies One Dove principles: Kindness, Respect, Deliciousness, Efficiency, and Cleanliness
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and twisting
