Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Lead Barista to join our team. As a Lead Barista, you will be at the heart of our coffee service, crafting beverages and creating welcoming experiences for our hotel guests.

In this role, you will prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, blended coffee, and tea, customizing orders as requested. You will describe product details to customers, process payments, and serve prepared foods and baked goods alongside your barista duties.

Requirements

Previous barista experience, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation.
Ability to describe product details and make recommendations to customers.
Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale payment processing.
Strong attention to detail in customizing beverage orders.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, correctly customizing orders as requested.
Describe product details to customers and assist with menu inquiries.
Receive and process customer payments accurately.
Serve prepared foods and baked goods alongside beverage orders.
Train and mentor new baristas on beverage preparation and service standards.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the barista station and equipment.
