The Coffee Shop Manager leads day-to-day department operations in a retail store, ensuring associates are trained, fully staffed, operating at company standards, and meeting goals and key performance indicators.

Order and maintain inventory using control procedures to ensure product freshness and quality, while reviewing received orders for amount, condition, and proper storage. Manage team tasks for stocking, production, accuracy, date rotation, and handling spoiled or damaged products per guidelines. Stay familiar with all department and store products, including advertised items, special prices, and rewards programs.

Assure weekly and period Flight Plans are communicated and executed to expectations. Follow policies using required tools and software for scheduling per forecasts, implementing work schedules, labor and overtime control, and payroll expense management. Handle department management including staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates. Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts as required. Requirements

Ability to lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store environment
Proficiency in inventory control procedures for fresh and perishable products
Experience managing retail stocking, production, and date-sensitive rotation
Knowledge of retail sales programs, advertised items, and rewards
Skill in using scheduling tools and software per company policies
Competency in labor control, overtime management, and payroll
Familiarity with department forecasting and goal development

Responsibilities

Order and maintain inventory in the department utilizing inventory control procedures to ensure product freshness and quality
Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count, weight, condition, and store product in appropriate areas
Manage team completing stocking, production, tasks for product quality, planning, accuracy, date rotation, and handle spoiled/damaged products per guidelines
Maintain familiarity with all products carried in the department and throughout the store
Know advertised items, special prices, coupon deals, and store sales and rewards programs
Assure weekly and period Flight Plan are communicated and executed to company expectations
Implement and maintain work schedules, labor control, overtime control, and payroll expense for the department
Manage department staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates
