As Shop Manager, you will drive your shop’s success by hitting labor and sales targets while providing leadership to the crew. You will create a platform for finding, defining, and attaining each individual’s compelling future goals.

You will oversee all employees, from onboarding and hiring to training, coaching, and corrective action. Ensure the shop is prepared to serve customers each day and meets all QA standards. Maintain good business practices including labor targets, cost of goods, and customer experience scores.

Lead, inspire, and develop each crew member to achieve our mission by modeling all expectations and hosting shop leadership meetings. Communicate upcoming specials, promotions, and standard changes to the crew. You will collaborate with the Regional Shop Manager to identify and remedy any issues.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have Dutch Bros Shop Lead experience.
  • No disciplinary action for the past 90 days (defined as a coaching conversation resulting in formal documentation with signatures).
  • Must have the desire to become an Operator.
  • Obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit/Certification as required by state/local regulations.
  • Complete, pass, and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under Dutch Bros standards.
  • Pass standard background check and MVR.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have availability to work a minimum of 37 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Drive your shop’s success by hitting labor and sales targets as set by the Regional Shop Manager and Regional Operator.
  • Provide leadership for the crew through being the example and providing training as needed.
  • Oversee and be responsible for all employees: onboarding, hiring, training, coaching, corrective action, and terminations.
  • Ensure the shop is prepared to serve customers each day and meets all QA standards.
  • Maintain good business practices as outlined by management (labor targets, cost of goods, customer experience scores, etc.).
  • Create and post shop schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop each member of the crew to achieve our mission.
  • Communicate with the Regional Shop Manager and Regional Operator to identify and remedy problems.
