As Restaurant or Café Manager, you will oversee daily outlet operations, ensuring team members greet and escort guests to tables while scheduling dining reservations. Train and monitor Food and Beverage Attendants to meet service standards, and manage all aspects of team performance and procedures.

You will maintain efficient point of sale systems, balance cash floats, and keep stock levels optimal while upholding cleanliness and security. Conduct daily briefings, complete log books, and report maintenance needs promptly to support smooth operations.

In this role, develop training plans, attend food and beverage meetings, and monitor manpower, payroll budgets, and profitability. Handle guest complaints courteously, assist with performance appraisals, and adapt to flexible rosters including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Strong communicator with well-developed stakeholder management
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and act with urgency while calm under pressure
  • Possession of a valid RSA
  • 5-star hotel background as Supervisor/Manager in food service field
  • Exceptionally organised with ability to prioritise timelines and budgets
  • Ability to work flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Responsibilities

  • Operate point of sale cashiering system and balance till and cash float
