You oversee all employees, including onboarding, hiring, training, coaching, and corrective action. You ensure the shop is prepared to serve customers each day and meets all QA standards. You also maintain good business practices as outlined by management, such as labor targets, cost of goods, and customer experience scores.

Your primary responsibility is to lead, inspire, and develop each member of the crew to achieve our mission. You model and meet all expectations of positions under your supervision. You attend or host shop leadership meetings and monthly shop meetings as determined by your leadership.

You have the opportunity to become an Operator and drive your own shop's success. By adhering to Dutch Bros culture and standards, you help make a difference one cup at a time. This role requires flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a minimum of 37 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have Dutch Bros Shop Lead experience.
  • No disciplinary action in the past 90 days (defined as a coaching conversation resulting in formal documentation with signatures).
  • Must have the desire to become an Operator.
  • Obtain and maintain a Food Handler Permit/Certification as required by state/local regulations.
  • Complete, pass, and maintain mandatory certificates, training, and knowledge tests under Dutch Bros required standards.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and pass standard background check and MVR if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Drive shop success by hitting labor and sales targets set by regional leadership.
  • Provide leadership for the crew through being the example and providing training as needed.
  • Oversee all employees from onboarding, hiring, training, coaching, and corrective action to terminations.
  • Ensure the shop is prepared to serve customers each day and meets all QA standards.
  • Maintain good business practices including labor targets, cost of goods, and customer experience scores.
  • Create and post shop schedules to ensure appropriate staffing.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop each member of the crew to achieve the company's mission.
