About this role

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Coffee Shop Manager to join our team working at Finchley Memorial Hospital. You will be working as part of a fantastic team, leading the team from the front and overseeing the operation. This is a permanent role working different shifts to include weekdays and weekends.

Manage daily operations of the coffee shop using Aramark systems to meet sales targets and maintain gross profit percentage. Monitor financial performance to ensure the site stays on track with business goals. Understand hospital clinic schedules to align coffee shop operations with peak times.

Lead a team of 7 staff, overseeing rotas, holiday planning, and professional conduct. Ensure excellent customer service by engaging with hospital staff, patients, and visitors. Build relationships with regular users of the facility to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • People management experience
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Experience leading teams in coffee shop or hospitality operations
  • Knowledge of sales targets and gross profit management in retail catering
  • Ability to manage staff rotas, holidays, and professional conduct
  • Proven customer service skills with diverse groups like staff, patients, and visitors
  • Familiarity with aligning operations to peak customer times in institutional settings
