About this role

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Barista Supervisor at our Starbucks in Downtown Spartanburg. The Barista Supervisor will contribute to Starbucks' success by assisting the General Manager in the execution of store operations, helping to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers.

Day-to-day, you will act with integrity, honesty, and competence, promoting the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks. You will create a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to coworkers, ensuring operational excellence and improving their performance.

You will contribute to a positive environment by recognizing changes in coworkers' morale and performance and communicating those changes to the manager. You will assist with training new team members, conduct inventory, execute promotions, and follow all cash management policies and health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

This role is ideal for someone who delivers legendary customer service with a customer-comes-first attitude, connecting with customers, discovering their needs, and responding effectively. You will also oversee opening and closing duties, maintaining a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to set a positive example for the team.

Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Barista experience
  • Strong customer service in retail and/or hospitality knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, build relationships, and communicate effectively

Responsibilities
