About this role

Gopuff is seeking a Multi-Unit Cafe Manager to join the Starbucks Operations team. This role is an exciting and fast-paced opportunity that requires drive, grit, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge ahead.

As Multi-Unit Cafe Manager you will lead a team of Lead Baristas and Baristas across two or more Starbucks licensed store locations. You will balance individual site needs with broader market-level strategy while ensuring operational consistency and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The success of multiple operations rests on your ability to execute, coach, and effectively lead diverse teams. You will optimize performance and maintain the integrity of the Starbucks brand across every assigned cafe.

You will develop localized action plans that enhance results while aligning with company strategy. Data analysis and regular site visits will guide decisions that improve both customer experience and operational outcomes.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of multi-unit leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or retail including at least 1 year in a cafe or coffee-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
  • Entrepreneurial mentality with a strong understanding of sales, operations, and customer experience.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, Google Suite, and business analytics tools.
  • Ability to lead in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment while maintaining focus on performance and team development.
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Starbucks operations across multiple locations including deliveries, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Drive improvements in key performance indicators such as Production Time, Order Defect Rate, and Cost Per Order.
  • Train and coach site-level leads and baristas to prioritize safety and adhere to standard work procedures.
  • Ensure financial success by meeting budget targets for productivity, labor, and other expenses.
  • Maintain compliance with Gopuff, Starbucks, and legal regulations using reports and dashboards.
  • Oversee daily operations and staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and weekends.
  • Collaborate with Regional and Area Managers to manage labor and implement scheduling and forecasting tools.
