Oversee daily administrative and operational tasks while handling staff management and all financials including budget development and forecasting. Manage cost controls, inventory, and sanitation for the account. Ensure customer satisfaction through safe and efficient resource use and good public relations.

Requirements

  • Three or more years supervisory experience in food service/coffee/cafe operations
  • Supervisory experience in a related environment
  • Knowledge of retail, food/coffee trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Leadership, management and coaching skills
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, the Internet and other necessary computer programs
  • ServSafe® Certified

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative and operational tasks
  • Handle all aspects of staff management including hiring and training baristas and shift leads
  • Manage all financials including budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Maintain knowledge of the marketplace and trends
  • Manage cost controls and expenditures for the account
  • Oversee sanitation and safety of assigned account
  • Purchase and manage inventory
  • Act as the direct liaison with the client
